Historical Context

This coin was struck during the revolt of Poemenius in Trier, who turned against the usurper Magnentius and struck the coins with Magnentius reverse but with the portrait of Constantius II, who probably would not approve the divinity of Jesus defining reverse with the letters "A" and "W".
