Commentary: rare - wedding issues for Caracalla and Septimius Severus from Nikopolis are known, but none of Plautilla; grey brown patina, decent details with legible legends
History: Plautilla and Caracalla married in a lavish ceremony in April 202 AD and 3 years later after the execution of his father, Plautilla and her daughter were banned to Lipari where they were strangled to death in 211 AD.
