highly attractive surfaces with contrasting rusty sand deposits, sharp details, die break on obverse (eye)
History:
Gratian estranged his troops by taking into his personal service a body of Alans, and appearing in public in the dress of a Scythian warrior - after a catastrophy at Hadrianopolis, surely not a good decision.
