rare with legend; dark patina with some deposits, identifiable legend, slightly off-center
History:
In 498 AD, Anastasius carried out a monetary reform of the bronze coinage introducing 3 new nominals: 40 Nummi (M), 20 Nummi (K), 10 Nummi (I); some years later 5 Nummi (E) was added.
